From the expanse of the Galveston Bay to Sabine Lake, the Houstonians enjoy a vast fishing resource amid rich natural beauty and is home to a large, avid fishing population.

Anglers from this primarily coastal community turned out strong on July 26, when Sport Fishing magazine visited the Boat SuperStore in Seabrook for its seventh "Learn from the Experts" Saltwater Fishing Seminar. Drawing primarily from The Superstore's dedicated customer base and Sport Fishing's loyal subscribers, the huge showroom easily accommodated the more than 300 guests that evening.
The four guest speakers selected as our "experts" for this event were Capt. Chris Phillips of Bayou Vista, Capt Ralph Fraser of Dickinson, Capt. Jim Leavelle of Houston and Capt. Mickey Eastman of Baytown.

Boat Super Store owner BJ Stampley was on hand with his staff to personally welcome the guests that night and to guide them through his showroom and well-appointed parts department.

Attendees received a free ROFFS Fishing Forecast for the waters off the Houston coast and a one-year subscription to Sport Fishing magazine.
