Exactly what is marine art, anyway? Paintings that look like pictures? Sculptures that are anatomically correct? Brush strokes that portray light underwater realistically?

Each year the task becomes more difficult, as a growing cadre of painters, woodworkers and sculptors compete for a limited amount of space.

The Queen's Gallery in Buckingham Palace is another London art gallery that demands to be visited. A huge collection of fabulous arts and treasures, items from the Royal Collection as well as works held in trust for the nation by the Queen. The Queen's Gallery was built from the ruins of Buckingham Palace's private chapel, hit by bombs during World War II.
